Nana in the City

By: Lauren Castillo

Nana in the City

A young boy is frightened by how busy and noisy the city is when he goes there to visit his Nana, but she makes him a fancy red cape that keeps him from being scared as she shows him how wonderful a place it is.

Rating: 4 ****

A sweet story about how grandparents’ can have a special bond with their grandchildren and help influence how they see the world and that sometimes the simplest idea, such as putting on a red cape, is all a child needs to help build confidence. That, and lots of love.
