29 Myths on the Swinster Pharmacy

29 Myths on the Swinster Pharmacy

A brother and sister wonder about the mysterious establishment across town called the Swinster Pharmacy.

Rating: 4 ****

Snickett is brilliant in his delivery of “myths” about this pharmacy, making young readers think what may be special about ordinary observations, if in fact, there is really nothing special at all, and further that anything can be special if someone makes it so.

After being mugged, Scratch Murphy the flea asks Ace Lacewing, Bug Detective, for help in finding the culprit who stole money from his Six Legs Amusement Park.

Rating: 4 ****

This story is told in the old guy noir style. Not sure kids will pick up all of the references and it’s a bit long for the age range.
