On October 31, the "Chu Tianyu King" badminton series-2020 Maopu Ziqiao Hubei Province City Club Competition will be unveiled in Wuhan Stadium. The competition lasts for two months, and the registration for the competition was launched recently, and a "collection order" was issued to grassroots badminton fans across the province.
This competition is sponsored by Hubei Table Tennis and Badminton Center and Provincial Badminton Association. It is the first large-scale provincial mass badminton competition established by Hubei Province with the official background. Any amateur badminton enthusiast who is 18 years old (born before January 1, 2002) and has a Hubei household registration or who works or studies in Hubei can follow the WeChat official account of "Chu Tianyu King" to register for the competition. The competition will take the lead in 19 sub-stations in 17 cities and states (forest areas), of which Wuhan is divided into 3 stations, and then grassroots masters from all walks of life will compete in the regional competition. After two stages of competition, the top grassroots players in the province will compete for the title of "Chu Tianyu King" in the finals.
Badminton has a solid mass foundation in Hubei. The organizers aim to stimulate more people's enthusiasm for participation through professional and standardized events, enhance the vitality of the badminton market, and promote the standardized and sound development of the entire badminton industry. At the same time, in order to increase participation, expand the scope of competition, and attract more grassroots badminton enthusiasts, the competition is determined to be a mixed team competition, including men's singles, men's first doubles, men's second doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
